Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Solutions Engineer, the successful candidate will design and scope vulnerability management solutions for complex customers, collaborating closely with security teams and translating their needs into actionable implementation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Scope and design solutions by understanding customer environments and determining how to build and deploy their Cogent instance
• Bridge technical and product teams by writing clear, actionable tickets for engineering to execute the solution design
• Own the technical relationship with customers, engaging with security engineers and CISO-level stakeholders to establish credibility

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in vulnerability management or a related security discipline
• Experience in an early-stage company, demonstrating the ability to scale processes and operate amidst ambiguity
• Proven track record working with enterprise-scale customers and large deployment teams
• Management experience, including hiring and building out a team
• Familiarity with APIs, including handling API keys and validating data
