Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Solutions Engineering team, the full-time remote Solutions Engineer will present and demo services to technical decision-makers, partner with Account Managers to address customer needs, and lead Proof of Concepts while shaping the product roadmap based on customer feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Present and demo Alkira services to technical decision-makers
• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and assist with technical inquiries
• Lead Proof of Concepts and assist customers with design and deployment based on best practices

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of technology sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Strong expertise in routing protocols and technologies, including BGP and OSPF
• Understanding of network security principles and experience with firewalls
• Hands-on experience with IPsec VPNs and secure connectivity architectures
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking) are a plus
