Job Summary

Facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient community, the remote Soninke Video Interpreter will provide interpretation services in various settings, including medical and legal environments, as an independently contracted professional.

Key responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service during interpretation sessions
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Complete necessary training and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Soninke
• Familiarity with industry standard best practices and professional protocols
• Ability to deliver a high level of client service
• Industry-specific certifications or training (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
• A computer or tablet device with a front-facing camera
