Sourcing and Contracting Manager

Job Summary

Proactively identifying and negotiating contract opportunities, the full-time remote Sourcing and Contracting Manager will leverage the buying power of the organization to reduce procurement costs while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to analyze spending and develop actionable sourcing strategies
• Monitor market conditions and collaborate with the Value Analysis team to inform sourcing decisions
• Negotiate contracts with strategic suppliers to maximize benefits and manage supplier performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Health Administration, or a related field
• Five years of sourcing and/or category commodity management experience with demonstrated negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of purchasing legalities and supplier relationship management
• Ability to collaborate and lead teams across various management levels
• Excellent analytical and project management skills, with a focus on strategic planning and change management
