Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support the growth of a transformative company, the full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager will manage sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop team members to achieve business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the sourcing and procurement processes for construction and building products
• Negotiate pricing and value for products and services while managing vendor relationships and contracts
• Evaluate product vendors and market trends to ensure effective procurement strategies and standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong project management and leadership skills with a solid understanding of the procurement cycle
• In-depth knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Inventory fundamentals
