Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager, the successful candidate will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop team capabilities while collaborating across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage sourcing and procurement for construction/building products and consumables
• Negotiate pricing and establish vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Guide and mentor team members to achieve business goals and improve procurement processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and project management skills
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and vendor relationship management
