Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage relationships to drive cost-effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products and consumables
• Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and effectiveness
• Evaluate market trends and assist in developing procurement standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong project management and leadership skills with a solid understanding of the procurement cycle
• In-depth knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and inventory fundamentals
