Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage vendor relationships while driving cost-effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction/building products and consumables
• Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
• Evaluate market trends and assist in developing standards and best practices for the Procurement department

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and contract negotiation skills
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and third-party vendors
