Sourcing Category Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing mission-driven team, the full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage vendor relationships while driving cost-effective solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction-related products
- Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish transparent procurement processes and standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
- Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and contract negotiation
- Ability to analyze data and build relationships with vendors and stakeholders
