Sourcing Category Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing mission-driven team, the full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager will manage sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop team capabilities to meet business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction-related products
- Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Evaluate market trends and product vendors to optimize procurement strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
- Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and contract negotiation
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and vendors
