Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager, the successful candidate will manage sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop team members to meet business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products
• Negotiate pricing and value for products and services while managing vendor relationships
• Evaluate product vendors and market trends to ensure effective procurement practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and project management skills
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and 3rd party vendors
