Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage vendor relationships to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement for construction/building products
- Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Evaluate product quality and market trends to optimize vendor options
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
- Strong knowledge of the procurement cycle and contract negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data for in-depth category analysis and decision-making
