Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time salaried Sourcing Category Manager will manage sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee vendor relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products
• Negotiate pricing and value for products and services efficiently
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring product quality and effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and contract negotiation
• In-depth understanding of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Inventory fundamentals
