Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing procurement team, the full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the sourcing and procurement processes for construction/building products and consumables
• Negotiate pricing and value for products and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts while evaluating product quality and market trends

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and project management skills
• In-depth understanding of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Inventory fundamentals
