Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

As a fully remote opportunity, the Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage vendor relationships while driving team development and collaboration across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction/building products and consumables
• Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Guide and mentor team members while collaborating with management on vendor evaluations and contract negotiations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and solid project management skills
• In-depth understanding of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Inventory fundamentals
