Sourcing Category Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Sourcing Category Manager, this full-time remote position will manage sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop strategic relationships to enhance product quality and availability.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products
- Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Evaluate product vendors and market trends to optimize purchasing strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
- Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and project management skills
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
