Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager, the successful candidate will manage sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop team members to achieve business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction-related products
• Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Analyze market trends and product quality to inform purchasing decisions and vendor evaluations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong knowledge of the procurement cycle and project management skills
• Ability to analyze data and build relationships with stakeholders and vendors
