Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing procurement team, the full-time salaried Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage vendor relationships in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction and building products
• Negotiate pricing and value for products and services while managing vendor relationships and contracts
• Evaluate product vendors and market trends to ensure optimal vendor selection and product availability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. are preferred
• Strong knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and inventory fundamentals
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage diverse vendor relationships
