Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time salaried Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop strong vendor relationships, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage sourcing and procurement processes for construction and building products
• Negotiate pricing and value for products and services to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Guide and mentor team members while evaluating vendor options and market trends

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong project management and leadership skills with knowledge of the procurement cycle
• In-depth understanding of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Inventory fundamentals
