Sourcing Category Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Category Manager, this full-time remote position will manage sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop team members to meet business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for products and consumables
- Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Evaluate product quality and market trends to optimize vendor selection and availability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
- Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and contract negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and vendors effectively
