Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time salaried Sourcing Category Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction products, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage vendor relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for construction/building products
• Negotiate pricing and value for products and services efficiently
• Manage the creation and renewal of vendor relationships and contracts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Inventory fundamentals
