Sourcing Manager - Event Venues

Job Summary

Consulting with clients to ensure optimal meeting outcomes, the full-time remote Sourcing Manager - Event Venues will create and submit proposal requests, source and contract hotels and venues, and negotiate favorable terms for meetings and events.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client meeting goals and objectives while providing consultative recommendations on venues and contracts
• Distribute and analyze supplier Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings
• Manage amendments, cancellation requests, and maintain updated records in CVENT

Required qualifications

• CVENT experience is required; certification is preferred
• Proven hotel sourcing and contracting experience in meetings management
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Travel industry and destination knowledge is a plus
• International experience and certifications such as CMP or CMM are advantageous
