Job Summary

Overseeing the effective purchasing of materials, the full-time Sourcing Professional - Buying/Procurement will manage supplier relationships, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely execution of production demands in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with production and suppliers to schedule raw material receipts and minimize potential line downs
• Issue purchase orders while adhering to company and government regulations
• Develop and monitor supplier delivery metrics and implement corrective action plans as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Materials capacity
• Familiarity with engineering bills of material and quality assurance requirements
• Knowledge of ERP systems and/or SAP experience is preferred
• Completion of an APICS training course is desired
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
