Sourcing Professional

Job Summary

Managing the procurement process, the full-time Sourcing Professional will oversee purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers to meet production demands, and ensure compliance with regulations in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with production and suppliers to schedule the receipt of raw materials and minimize potential line downs
• Issue purchase orders while adhering to company and government regulations
• Develop supplier relationships and monitor delivery and inventory metrics to ensure customer requirements are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Materials capacity
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
• Knowledge of ERP systems and/or SAP experience
• Completion of an APICS training course is preferred
