Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sourcing Specialist (Temp) within the Supply Chain department remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate competitive cost solutions for sourcing requests
• Evaluate services and quotes to identify desirable suppliers and maintain supplier relationships
• Utilize data to drive decisions and support the development of category strategies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5 years of related experience for non-degreed candidates
• 3+ years of previous related experience, preferably in a biotech/laboratory environment
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of standard purchasing and negotiating practices; purchasing certification preferred
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
