Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sourcing Specialist in the Purchasing & Procurement category, who will provide analytical support for the development and execution of Outsourcing category strategies, supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, supply continuity, risk mitigation, contract management, spend analysis and metric reporting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Category Managers to ensure accurate communication to stakeholders and alignment with procurement strategies
• Participate in the development and execution of sourcing reporting requirements enabling the evaluation of spend and supplier performance
• Support Category Manager in preparing for Supplier Business Reviews and lead efforts in partnering with supply base to survey key information and ensure compliance

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of procurement experience
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and identify potential opportunities that align with procurement strategies
• Exhibit innovative and strategic thinking
• Project management experience required with ability to multi-task with high volume throughput
• Bachelor's degree in discipline related to function of work with 3+ years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience
