Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the part-time South Carolina and North Carolina Licensed Wound Care Physician will conduct remote consultations, oversee wound assessments, and provide clinical supervision to Nurse Practitioners while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telemedicine consultations and initial wound assessments to establish diagnosis and care plans
- Review wound photographs and documentation to track healing and adjust treatment as necessary
- Provide supervision and clinical oversight to Nurse Practitioners performing in-home wound visits
Required qualifications
- Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with active, unrestricted licenses in South Carolina and North Carolina
- Clinical experience in wound care management; certification through the American Board of Wound Management (CWSP) or equivalent is strongly preferred
- Experience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and photo-based wound assessment
- Available between 8 am and 6 pm for patient consultations and provider oversight
