Job Summary

Supporting a decentralized patient-centered approach, the full-time South Carolina Certified Medical Assistant will assist in patient examinations, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms while working onsite under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under physician direction
• Interview patients and accurately measure and record vital signs
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and ensure cleanliness and readiness

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
• Six months of CMA/RMA experience required
• Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
