Job Summary

Supporting a patient-centered approach, the full-time Certified Medical Assistant will assist in patient examinations and treatments, interview patients, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under physician direction
• Interview patients and accurately record vital signs in their medical records
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
• Six months of CMA/RMA experience required
• Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent from recognized organizations
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and mobility assistance
