South Carolina Claims Processor

Job Summary

To ensure accurate and timely insurance claim processing, the full-time South Carolina Claims Processor will resolve claim edits, manage denied claims, and maintain account updates while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Update patient registration and authorization issues, process adjustments, and follow up on denied claims according to payer rules
• Utilize electronic billing systems to correct claims and resolve outstanding issues by contacting third-party payers or gathering information from patients
• Maintain quality standards on account follow-up and productivity as set by management, while keeping management informed of operational issues and trends

Required qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• 0-6 months of relevant work experience
