Job Summary
South Carolina Credentialing Manager is a full-time remote position responsible for managing provider credentialing activities, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of credentialing, including policy development and compliance monitoring
- Communicate with internal and external representatives regarding credentialing issues and coordinate activities for the credentialing committee
- Select, train, and develop staff while ensuring high-quality customer service and monitoring department performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a job-related field
- 5 years of healthcare experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role or equivalent military experience
- Knowledge of NCQA and JCAHO credentialing standards
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
