Job Summary

South Carolina Credentialing Manager is a full-time remote position responsible for managing provider credentialing activities, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of credentialing, including policy development and compliance monitoring
  • Communicate with internal and external representatives regarding credentialing issues and coordinate activities for the credentialing committee
  • Select, train, and develop staff while ensuring high-quality customer service and monitoring department performance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a job-related field
  • 5 years of healthcare experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role or equivalent military experience
  • Knowledge of NCQA and JCAHO credentialing standards
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
