Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to facilitate effective communication and learning strategies
• Provide direct instruction in a variety of subjects, adapting materials as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid teaching credential in Deaf Education or related field
• Experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students, preferably in an itinerant role
• Familiarity with assistive technology and teaching resources for deaf or hard of hearing students
