Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant I to perform entry-level accounting activities related to maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile assigned accounts and process general ledger and journal entries
• Prepare financial reports for analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and results analysis
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and assist with special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job-related field with 24 semester hours in accounting
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use data retrieval applications
• Preferred: 1+ years of accounting experience and strong MS Excel skills
