Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Capital Assets Manager, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Accountant will analyze capital assets, manage asset disposals and transfers, and review finances of Health System capital projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure timely recognition of asset disposals and proper recording of asset transfers within the organization
  • Maintain communication with division managers and project managers to ensure compliance with capitalizing policies and assist with project reviews
  • Summarize and organize workpapers for audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • Three years of work experience in accounting, business, audit, or finance
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Experience in healthcare or hospital settings is preferred
  • Additional qualifications such as an MBA, MHA, CHFP, or CPA designation are a plus
