Job Summary
To support the BS-AHIA program, the part-time South Carolina Licensed Adjunct Instructor will teach undergraduate courses online, integrating artificial intelligence and digital tools while assessing student performance and collaborating with faculty to ensure course alignment with learning outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as an instructor for 2-3 BS-AHIA courses per academic year, delivering high-quality online instruction
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback, maintaining virtual office hours for student support
- Collaborate with program leadership to ensure course content is current, evidence-based, and aligned with student learning outcomes
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Evidence of successful teaching experience in online or accelerated programs, particularly for adult learners
- Experience integrating artificial intelligence or advanced digital tools into teaching and curriculum design
- Knowledge of health information systems and healthcare technology applications
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices in the use of AI in education
