South Carolina Licensed Advanced Practice Provider

Job Summary

To assist in the assessment and management of psychiatric patients in a full-time capacity, the South Carolina Licensed Advanced Practice Provider will work at the Access Bridge Care Clinic under the supervision of a psychiatrist, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care through comprehensive history-taking and physical examinations via telehealth
• Evaluates and treats patients based on diagnostic test results and collaborates with other healthcare providers as necessary
• Assumes responsibility for managing a patient caseload, establishing treatment protocols, and monitoring clinical practices

Required qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• At least two years of clinical experience, with one year in a specialty area of care preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
