South Carolina Licensed Advanced Practice Provider

Job Summary

To assist in the assessment and management of psychiatric patients, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Advanced Practice Provider will work at the Access Bridge Care Clinic under the supervision of a psychiatrist, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including comprehensive history taking and physical examinations via telehealth
• Evaluates and treats patients based on diagnostic test results and initiates referrals as necessary
• Participates in quality improvement activities and supports organizational accreditation and compliance efforts

Required qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant or PMHNP in South Carolina
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with two years of clinical experience, including one year in a specialty area
• New graduates must be certification eligible upon employment and obtain certification within six months
