Job Summary
To support an expanding Virtual Urgent Care team, a full-time South Carolina Licensed Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) will evaluate, diagnose, and manage urgent medical needs through a telehealth platform while delivering patient-centered care to underserved populations across South Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive virtual urgent care services utilizing MUSC Health's telemedicine platform
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute and episodic medical conditions
- Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve healthcare access
Required qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification
- Minimum of two years of Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, or ICU experience
- South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Comfort practicing in a telehealth environment
