Job Summary
Seeking a South Carolina Licensed Associate Attorney, the full-time remote position will manage first-party property insurance matters from pre-suit through litigation and resolution, while evaluating claims, drafting legal documents, and communicating with clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage first-party property insurance matters through all phases of litigation
- Evaluate incoming claims to determine case viability, strategy, and value
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents while maintaining organized case files
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active South Carolina Bar license in good standing
- Approximately 2+ years of substantive civil litigation experience
- Hands-on experience with pleadings, discovery, and depositions
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
