Job Summary
Independently investigating and negotiating claims, the full-time remote Senior Claims Adjuster (Workers Compensation) will manage a caseload of complex claims, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and providing direction to less experienced adjusters.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations of assigned claims, adhering to corporate timeliness and quality standards
- Manage a caseload of catastrophic and high exposure claims, ensuring proactive communication and timely resolution
- Document case actions and collaborate with attorneys to establish defense strategies and negotiate settlements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years related experience or 2 years with an Associate's degree)
- 4 years of area-related adjusting experience
- Valid adjuster's license in required states or ability to acquire within 6 months
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate laws, regulations, and contract language
