Job Summary

Seeking a temporary Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster, the full-time remote position will adjudicate complex indemnity claims for clients in South Carolina and Virginia, ensuring thorough investigations and effective management of claims processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims with significant impact on departmental results
• Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
• Prepare reports and communicate trends to senior management and underwriters

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in South Carolina and Virginia jurisdictions
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• South Carolina License required at the start of the assignment
• Strong claim negotiation skills and excellent business acumen
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
