Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist I-RN.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of inpatient electronic medical records to identify and address missing or incomplete diagnoses
• Collaborate with providers to ensure accurate documentation reflecting DRG assignment and patient severity
• Participate in quality metric interpretation and educational opportunities within the system

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state
• At least five years of clinical nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical experience and critical thinking skills required
• Extensive knowledge of patient care and clinical measurement tools
