Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II-4.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate codes for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services based on patient medical records
• Utilize classification systems including ICD-10 and CPT in accordance with official coding guidelines
• Adhere to Health Information Management Department policies and procedures during coding tasks

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health information technology or related field, or 5 years of coding experience
• Coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) is required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of coding experience with an Associate's degree
• Familiarity with coding software
• Relevant coding credentials such as RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, or CPC-A are required
