Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II who independently manages coding assignments for medical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assign codes for inpatient and outpatient services based on medical documentation
• Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations while interpreting complex medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in departmental training initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health information technology or related field, or 5 years of coding experience
• Coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) is required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of coding experience with an Associate's degree
• Familiarity with coding software
• Valid coding credential such as RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, or CPC-A is required
