Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II-2.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract and code medical record documentation for inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and emergency services
• Select and sequence appropriate ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS, and CPT-4 codes for diagnoses and procedures
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and contribute to timely and accurate code assignment

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health information technology or related field, or 5 years coding experience
• Coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of coding experience with an Associate's degree
• Familiarity with coding software
• Valid coding credential from AAPC or AHIMA required
