Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coding, abstracting, and analysis of medical records
• May assist with assembly, tracking, and completion of incomplete medical records
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health information field or related healthcare program, or a High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience
• Two years of previous acute care medical record coding experience in ICD-10-CM and CPT
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or other health-related credentials
