Job Summary

To support virtual education for students with disabilities, the fully remote South Carolina Licensed Educator will deliver instruction, create engaging lesson plans, and track student performance as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Create lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and promote creativity in the virtual learning environment
• Engage and nurture student learning and relationships through effective teaching strategies
• Monitor and maintain student grades and performance throughout the academic year

Required qualifications

• Current South Carolina Teaching Certification in Students with Disabilities or open to reciprocity
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a professional educator
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet
• Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submission of a background check
