Job Summary

A company is looking for a Surveillance Epidemiologist.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on various public health diseases and manage disease surveillance data
• Assist county health department epidemiologists with investigations and reporting of disease outbreaks
• Coordinate grant-related activities and provide training and resources for county-level disease surveillance

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a closely related field
• Relevant working experience in public health or epidemiology
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills
• Understanding of public health surveillance methodologies
• Experience with analysis software such as SAS, SQL, Access, R, or other analytical tools
