South Carolina Licensed Field Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting project teams remotely, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Field Engineer will provide engineering and technical support, ensuring contract compliance, safety standards, and high-quality work throughout industrial construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Requests for Information (RFI) process and manage the preparation of construction work packages
• Participate in project meetings to provide engineering insights and prepare detailed cost estimates for change orders
• Conduct walk-downs to monitor work package progress and collaborate with stakeholders to address site issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
• 2+ years of experience in field engineering or project engineering
• Experience with starting up and commissioning power or industrial plants, preferably with HRSG projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and construction management software such as InEight
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training or ability to complete it within 30 days of onboarding preferred
