Job Summary
To oversee the operational processes of Laboratory Services, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Laboratory Manager will manage billing operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide staff training while working primarily onsite with potential hybrid remote flexibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage local billing operations, ensuring compliance with CPT and ICD10 coding standards
- Oversee daily billing activities and provide feedback to providers regarding performance and compliance
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to promote continuous learning and accountability
Required qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 5 years of healthcare experience, including billing and coding
- AAPC certification
- Preferred: Associate's degree or higher
- Preferred: 2 years of management experience
